Eligible to graduate!

Hello, hello.

Yes, hello.
I am finally a graduate of Master of Architecture!!!!!!!!

5 years. 5 frickin years. Gila wey. I can hardly believe it myself. *tampar diri sendiri*
For the next few months I shall eat to my heart's content. Like, real food. No more of that processed food crap, shredded and compressed chicken innards (Nuggets. NUGGETS!), and 5 cups of coffee a day...! I am free!

Ayam berjaya terbang!

not a chicken. a duckling. quack kurr kurr

Tahniah natto ayam! You are not as ayam as you think you are! You are not as ayam as other people think you are! You are a certified halal, half-human! HAHA.

A career or a job?

In about 6 weeks insha Allah I will be graduating from this madhouse called university. Where sleep is a luxury that very few can afford. It is here that time feel like it's stretched thin and long and yet somehow when that dateline is breathing down your neck, time becomes like grains of sand that the harder you try to grasp, the faster it slips through your fingers.

Now I have 6 weeks left in Masters of Architecture. Soon, if all goes well, I will be presenting my final year project in front of the faces that I may or may not see again in the future. I will get the feedback to my project and my grades. I will finish school and then my pencils, Pantones and tracing paper, mountains of clothes and shoes will be stored away. Packed and ready to be aboard a ship back to Malaysia.  *chicken dances with pom-poms*

And it got me thinking.. What then? What will I do next? All these years of struggling and crying and laughing at 4 am, pulling my hair trying to figure out how to present an idea, (intangible, slippery, shape-shifting little maggot).

It's easy to lie when people ask if I've got it all figured out. But the truth is, nothing is really set in stone at the moment.

Being an adult is quite tough. I wonder how other adults do it.
